About
I'm a printmaker based in central Vermont.
I create limited edition linoleum prints burnished entirely by hand without a press. This process means each print is truly unique, as the variations between each print are enhanced. The physical labor of pulling prints is both the most difficult and rewarding part of the process as the moment of the reveal is soon to follow.
If you're interested in acquiring a piece, I recommend signing up for my mailing list. Subscribers receive advance notice when new prints become available. I occasionally accept commissions—feel free to inquire through my contact page, where you can also reach me with any other questions.

"The Printmaker's Alphabet"
Inspired by the items on my workbench, I finally found the subject for a project I've long wanted to tackle - the alphabet.
Each tool featured is essential to produce high quality prints, along with many more that didn't make the cut. At the end of each workday, I set aside time to clean my tools and return them each to their own place. I believe the level to which we take care of our tools reflects the care we put into our work.
By highlighting the instruments of my practice, I hope to honor the legacy behind each of them and, in turn, the inventors and makers who created the items that allow me to create.

About this Series
Interlaced knot patterns have a long history across cultures, but gained prominence in Celtic designs. They symbolize eternity, interconnectedness, and the cycle of life, death, and rebirth.
There is seemingly no limit to the iterations possible from these single unbroken lines, wound around themselves, back and back again. Here I've explored just a few of these endless forms.
